Hard Descent

I did my first ride down Page Mill, which was more difficult than I expected...particularly when there are two 180º hairpin turns in a row in opposite directions. And just to make things interesting, by rear tire decided to flat halfway down. It was still fun, though.

First Race!

Here's the map of my first race ever. I got dropped after 4 miles, but I finished the race and had a lot of fun. It was out in Hollister, which, contrary to the marketing of the store, is not near the ocean. Anyways, I'll hopefully be racing more next year.

Coast Ride

Did this one a while ago, but never posted it. I biked out to the Pacific ocean and it was awesome. Here's the route:

Old La Honda

I rode up Old La Honda for the first time today!

After doing the mini-loop a few more times, I decided to extend the ride to the traditional Portola Valley loop many riders do behind Stanford. Here's the ride I did today:

Biking Log

Did the same mini-loop yesterday, except on the new bike that finally arrived! The ride was much faster (and easier) and the bike felt good. It's a basic Specialized Allez with a compact crank.
